PlayOn WA shines a light on sport and recreation facility upgrades

15 Aug 2025

More than $2.86 million will modernise local sports facilities across WA, improving lighting, surfaces and accessibility. The upgrades are designed to lift community participation and keep competitions running safely year‑round.

Shovel‑ready projects typically unlock co‑funding from councils and clubs, stretching each dollar further. Expect upgrades to prioritise where junior and women’s participation is growing fastest.
