The Government has confirmed a series of key leadership appointments across various ministries and departments.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced the appointments, which include new positions in health, education, and economic development portfolios.
"These appointments bring together a strong team of experienced leaders who will help deliver on our Government's priorities," the Prime Minister said.
The new appointments include:
- New Chief Executive for the Ministry of Health
- Deputy Secretary for Education
- Director-General of Economic Development
- Chief Technology Officer for Digital Government
All appointments are effective immediately and will help strengthen the Government's ability to deliver on its commitments to New Zealanders.
The Prime Minister thanked outgoing officials for their service and welcomed the new appointees to their roles.
