Applied Digital Secures Up to 1 GW of Potential Power Capacity in Finland, Marking First International Development in the Nordics
Applied Digital has entered an agreement providing access to up to 1 gigawatt of potential power capacity in Finland, its first development opportunity outside the United States. The Dallas-headquartered data center developer plans a large-scale AI Factory campus there, with initial power anticipated from 2028, and is in discussions with global hyperscale customers. Chairman and CEO Wes Cummins called the move a deliberate first step, saying the company remains focused on its U.S. pipeline.
