CommonAI selects Kao Data to host the UK’s Scaling Inference Lab – providing a national testbed for next-generation AI infrastructure
CommonAI has chosen Kao Data’s Harlow campus to host the UK’s AI Scaling Inference Lab, funded by the Advanced Research and Invention Agency. CommonAI will deploy at least five high-density GPU and accelerator clusters in two dedicated suites, testing approaches such as pipeline parallelism and optical circuit switching, with all five aimed to be operational by early 2027. The hardware mix includes NVIDIA HGX B300, H200 NVL and AMD Instinct MI350X systems.
