Gov. Little comments on State of Idaho’s expanded partnership with feds to accelerate forest management across Idaho
Idaho Governor Brad Little welcomed five new Good Neighbor Authority agreements between the Idaho Department of Lands and the U.S. Forest Service to expand active forest management across the state. The agreements provide $12.4 million in federal funding and include a 20-year statewide framework covering all National Forests in Idaho. They are expected to support more than 100 future timber sales and dozens of restoration projects aimed at reducing wildfire risk.
