Governor Healey Celebrates New Veterans Services Office in Springfield to Expand Support for Western Massachusetts Veterans
The Healey-Driscoll Administration opened a new Executive Office of Veterans Services regional office in Springfield to serve veterans in Hampden, Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin counties. About 42,000 of Massachusetts’ 274,000 veterans live in Western Massachusetts. The office offers walk-in help with benefits, housing, mental health support and VA claims, and will host outreach events. EOVS-represented claimants accounted for about $554.2 million of $2.17 billion in FY26 VA benefits in the state.
