Safety and operations teams can connect their AI assistant to FormSafely forms and submissions in minutes, with no demo call needed
AUCKLAND, New Zealand — 24 October 2026 — FormSafely (https://formsafely.com/), a provider of digital safety and inspection forms for field teams, today launched the FormSafely MCP server. It is a standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that lets AI assistants read an organization's FormSafely data. Safety and operations managers can now ask an assistant questions about their forms and submissions directly.
Through the MCP server, an AI assistant can list forms and their fields, pull recent submissions filtered by date, open a single submission, get submission counts by form and by day, and export submissions as CSV. Example questions include "Summarize this week's hazard reports by location," "Which vehicle pre-starts were not safe in the last 7 days?" and "Draft a toolbox talk from the most common hazards this fortnight."
The connector is read-only. Assistants can look up forms and submissions but cannot create, edit or delete anything, and they see only the signed-in organization's data. FormSafely stores only a scrambled fingerprint of each key. Revoking a key stops it immediately, every request is logged and rate limited, and a key works only while the organization is on the Admin plan.
The feature is built for safety and operations managers, teams that already use an AI assistant at work, and admins who prepare weekly summaries, toolbox talks and audit packs.
Setup is self-serve. Owners and admins create a key in the FormSafely builder under "MCP / API keys". Each key is shown once, and an organization can have up to 10 active keys, which can be revoked at any time. Users then add the remote MCP server address shown in the builder to their AI assistant, with the key as a bearer token, and ask a question such as "List my FormSafely forms."
MCP access is part of the FormSafely Admin plan, which costs USD $5 per admin user per month and includes a 10-day free trial. Form fillers stay free and don't need a key.
"No demo call needed. Create a key, connect your assistant and ask your forms a question," said Gary Jensen, founder of FormSafely.
Setup instructions are available at https://formsafely.com/mcp-connect/, the builder is at https://formsafely.com/builder/, and a 1-minute demo is at https://formsafely.com/demo/.
