Armstrong presents Rough Rider Award to ‘legendary’ wrestlers, coaches and twins Terry and Troy Steiner
North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong presented the Rough Rider Award, the state’s highest commendation for its citizens, to Bismarck-raised wrestling twins Terry and Troy Steiner at a ceremony in the Capitol’s Memorial Hall. The brothers, both NCAA champions at the University of Iowa, are the award’s 51st and 52nd recipients. Terry has coached the U.S. Women’s National Wrestling Team since 2002, and the twins announced a Steiner Rough Rider Foundation to help young North Dakotans through sport.
