Governor Stitt Congratulates Governor-elect Mike Mazzei, Looks Ahead to Oklahoma’s Next Chapter
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt congratulated Mike Mazzei on being elected the state’s 29th governor, calling him a businessman who understands that government spending belongs to taxpayers. Stitt said Mazzei inherits a stronger state, citing increased education funding to $4.2 billion, $1.6 billion in tax cuts, savings projected at about $4.5 billion in fiscal 2027 and a smaller state aircraft and vehicle fleet over the past eight years.
