Governor Gordon, Governor-elect Barlow Issue the Following Statement
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and Governor-elect Eric Barlow issued a joint statement on WE Soda’s announced reduction in soda ash miners in Sweetwater County, calling it terrible news for a cornerstone industry. They said they are talking with federal officials, producers, utilities and others on strengthening the market for the material, and that state workforce, unemployment and family services agencies are coordinating to help displaced workers and their families.
