Police can confirm the names of the two people who died following a crash on the Waimate Highway on 14 September.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash around 2.20pm near O'Neills Road.
Sadly, one person was located deceased at the scene.
A second person with critical injuries was transported to hospital. They sadly died in hospital on 17 September.
They were 87-year-old Elisabeth May Cunningham, and 88-year-old Allan Hugh Lyall, from Mosgiel.
Police's thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances into the crash are ongoing.
