Police investigating a serious assault in Mangere yesterday are appealing to the public for information.

At about 12.30pm, Police responded to reports of an altercation outside a private address in Harwell Place. It is understood a firearm was involved.

Two people required medical attention and are understood to both be in a stable condition.

Police are now seeking the public’s assistance to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
