Maine Governor-elect Hannah Pingree thanked supporters in Portland the morning after winning the governor’s race and launched her transition website, where Mainers can apply to serve in her Cabinet and office and follow transition news. She will be sworn in as Maine’s 76th governor on January 6, 2027. Pingree said her priorities are affordable housing, accessible health care and strong communities, and pledged to work with legislators from both parties.
