New app brings more than 50 state services together in one convenient location
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Department of Finance and Administration today launched MyArkansas, a new application giving Arkansans convenient access to more than 50 state services. Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, MyArkansas brings everyday transactions, important reminders, and state resources together in one location, with additional services planned for future releases.
Governor Sanders joined the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration Jim Hudson to announce the launch at the state Revenue Office in Springdale, Arkansas’ capital for a day.
“Arkansans have jobs to get to and families to take care of, and accessing state services should be a simple part of their day,” said Governor Sanders. “MyArkansas puts more than 50 state services in the palm of your hand, creating a more streamlined experience, whether it’s renewing tags or booking a stay at one of our beautiful state parks. This is another step toward building a state government that respects people’s time and works around their lives.”
“Governor Sanders expects us to deliver first-class customer service, every time,” said Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration Jim Hudson. “Through this new mobile app, Arkansans do not have to search multiple websites to find the appropriate department that offers a needed service. They can simply visit the app and find it immediately. I encourage all Arkansans to go to the app store for their mobile phone and download it today.”
Developed in collaboration with Login.gov, MyArkansas connects users directly with official state services, including:
- Booking lodging at Arkansas State Parks
- Purchasing hunting and fishing licenses
- Renewing vehicle registration
- Checking real-time revenue office wait times
- Requesting vital records
- Applying for an Education Freedom Account
The application also provides updates and notifications about emergency preparedness, license renewals, tax deadlines, and benefits eligibility.
Governor Sanders tasked the Department of Finance and Administration with creating MyArkansas to give Arkansans around-the-clock access to state services in one location, reducing the time and effort required to navigate multiple state offices and websites.
MyArkansas builds on the Governor’s efforts to deliver a more cost-effective and efficient state government. In July, Governor Sanders launched the Arkansas Forward dashboard, giving Arkansans a front-row, real-time look at the more than 300 opportunities to reduce costs and improve services across the executive branch’s 15 cabinet-level departments. Since launching in 2024, Arkansas Forward has identified an estimated $135 million in taxpayer savings and cost avoidance, with expectations of reaching $300 million by the end of 2030.
