A 60-year-old Christchurch man has been charged over the disappearance and death of 21-year-old Braydon Hepworth, Police said on 10 October. He faces charges relating to concealing Hepworth's body and making a false statement, and was due to appear in the Christchurch District Court that morning. Detective Inspector Scott Anderson said Police cannot comment further while the matter is before the courts.

A 60-year-old Christchurch man has been charged in relation to the disappearance and subsequent death of 21-year-old Braydon Hepworth.
The man is facing charges relating to the concealment of Hepworth’s body and making a false statement.
He will appear in the Christchurch District Court this morning.
As this matter is now before the courts Police are unable to make further comment at this time.
