Police investigating an assault in Norsewood earlier today are reiterating our appeal for information from the public.

Cordons have been lifted following the altercation around 10:30am today at the side of State Highway 2 which left one person in a critical condition, but the public can expect to see officers in the area as we continue our enquiries.

The alleged offenders left the scene in a vehicle and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.

As part of Police enquiries, we are keen for anyone who may have been travelling through the area at the time, and seen anything that may help us, to get in touch – particularly if you have dash cam footage.
